Wind River Environmental is the largest provider on the East Coast in the non-hazardous liquid waste space, and they are seeking a remote Inside Sales Representative. This role involves supporting existing commercial customers by converting field-identified opportunities into completed work, ensuring a seamless experience through strong communication and organization.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and keep technicians productive by converting field-identified opportunities into completed work
  • Review service recommendations submitted by technicians across assigned branches, prioritizing follow-ups, and connecting with customers via phone and email to move opportunities forward
  • Walk customers through findings, answer questions, explain recommendations clearly, and guide them toward the right solution with confidence and professionalism
  • Manage a high volume of active opportunities across multiple branches while keeping the pipeline organized and progressing inside Salesforce
  • Generate and manage quotes, document activity, track service orders, and ensure customers stay informed throughout the process
  • Work closely with operations teams to align on scope, pricing, scheduling, and execution
  • Coordinate urgent requests or help keep projects on track through strong communication and partnership across teams

Skills

  • Experience in inside sales, account management, customer service, or a high-volume B2B environment
  • Strong communication skills across phone and email
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build trust and guide conversations professionally
  • Comfort working within CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, including tools within the Salesforce ecosystem such as Service Cloud
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to learn processes quickly and adapt within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong personal accountability and attention to detail
