PT-Wireless Architect/Consultant
Sr. Wireless Architect-PT-15-20 hours per week.
- Remote - located within driving distance of State College, PA 16802 - for onsite visits when needed
- This engagement will span approximately 6–12 months.

Scope of Work
- The Architect will ensure continuity of wireless, authentication, and related network services during a key personnel transition.
- This engagement is intended to bridge the operational and architectural knowledge gap between the retirement of a senior wireless architect and the hiring and onboarding of a replacement resource.
- The primary purpose of this engagement is operational continuity, knowledge transfer, risk reduction, and onboarding support, not project delivery.
Job Description
Architect/Consultant Responsibilliries
- Provide senior-level wireless and authentication architectural guidance
- Act as Tier 3/4 escalation support for complex issues
- Participate in incident response bridges for major service issues
- Review and validate major wireless and authentication changes
- Provide operational and architectural decision support
- Assist with onboarding and mentoring of new wireless staff
- Assist in documenting environment, dependencies, and operational procedures
- Provide risk identification and mitigation recommendations

- Aruba → Mist migration assistance

- Automation development (Mist APIs, Python, Ansible)
- ServiceNow integration workflows
- Wireless site surveys and RF optimization
- On-site support during major migrations
