Role Summary

The Senior Lead Analytics Consultant will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, shaping analytical methodologies, delivering high‑impact insights, and guiding cross‑functional teams through data‑intensive projects. This position blends strategic thinking with hands‑on technical execution, requiring a blend of business acumen, advanced analytics, and strong stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Advisory: Act as a consultant to senior management, influencing analytical approaches for highly complex business and technical challenges.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Build, expand, and maintain strong operating relationships with business partners, stakeholders, and experts across all levels of the organization, serving as a professional consultant to leadership.
  • Solution Design & Delivery: Lead the design and execution of solutions for intricate, large‑scale problems that require vision, innovation, and coordination across multiple functions, including but not limited to Business Intelligence (BI) and self‑service platforms.
  • Executive Communication: Provide vision, direction, and insight to senior management on the implementation of transformative business solutions that align with arenaflex’s strategic objectives.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead critical initiatives, manage project teams, and mentor junior analysts, interns, and external contractors to foster a high‑performing analytics community.
  • Data Exploration & Modeling: Conduct deep‑dive analyses of large data sets, develop predictive models, and generate actionable recommendations that drive operational efficiency and revenue growth.
  • Reporting & Dashboard Development: Design and maintain executive‑level dashboards and reports using modern BI tools, ensuring data accuracy, relevance, and timeliness.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Support: Partner with compliance teams to embed regulatory requirements into analytical frameworks, mitigating risk while supporting business objectives.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Identify emerging trends, evaluate new technologies, and champion best‑practice methodologies to keep arenaflex at the forefront of analytics excellence.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in analytics, reporting, financial modeling, or statistics, demonstrated through professional work, training, military service, or academic achievements.
  • Proven track record of delivering data‑driven solutions that have measurable business impact.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear, data‑based recommendations.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining high quality and meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications & Technical Expertise

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Expertise with BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI, and strong proficiency in SAS, Python, and SQL Server Development (including Management Studio, Integration Services, Reporting Services, and Analysis Services).
  • Hands‑on experience with multiple database platforms, including Oracle, DB2, and Teradata.
  • Domain experience in financial services, specifically in consumer lending areas such as Collections, Servicing, Small Business Lending, Credit Card, Retail Services, Personal Lending, and Deposit products.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft compelling presentations that tell a data‑driven story to audiences ranging from technical analysts to senior executives.
  • Proven capability to thrive in ambiguous environments, work independently, and take initiative to uncover opportunities and implement innovative solutions.
  • Experience building partnerships across business units and functional areas, fostering collaboration and shared ownership of analytics outcomes.
