With a nationwide footprint and a commitment to improving the health and well‑being of millions, arenaflex combines retail pharmacy expertise, specialty drug management, telehealth, and advanced data analytics to deliver seamless, patient‑centric solutions. Our mission is to empower individuals, providers, and payers with reliable, data‑driven insights that drive better outcomes, lower costs, and enhance the overall health experience.

Why This Role Matters

As the Chief Business Counsel – Data Entry & Analytics Lead, you will be the strategic engine behind critical data‑driven initiatives that shape arenaflex’s operational excellence. You will guide cross‑functional teams, partner with external vendors, and ensure the integrity, accuracy, and actionable value of clinical and financial data across the organization. This is a remote, high‑visibility position that directly influences how arenaflex transforms raw data into strategic advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and mentorship to external vendors, consultants, and matrixed internal teams to support arenaflex’s data‑quality and analytics initiatives.
  • Lead the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of electronic health record (EHR) data, ensuring completeness, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Identify data gaps, develop remediation plans, and drive process improvements that increase productivity across the data lifecycle.
  • Act as the business lead for system design, testing new functionalities, and evaluating vendor‑driven data‑coding solutions.
  • Champion change management for system upgrades and infrastructure fixes, balancing inter‑dependencies across timelines and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Maintain and document data governance policies, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance are embedded in all processes.
  • Conduct periodic audits of data controls, reporting findings in clear, concise written and verbal formats.
  • Support a team of 1‑million IFP (Integrated Financial Planning) professionals by overseeing data quality, ingestion, and validation to meet service level agreements.
  • Analyze root‑cause trends, develop corrective actions, and continuously refine data collection methodologies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging analytics to enhance operational efficiency and decision‑making.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience with the full IT application development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data sets into meaningful business insights that drive strategic decisions.
  • Hands‑on expertise with SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide, Python, and SQL Server for data analysis, validation, and reporting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and influence financial and operational outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—capable of presenting technical findings to non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and documenting business processes and improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in testing methodologies, including test plan creation, execution, and defect tracking.
  • Ability to assess data accuracy against source documents, reports, and data sets.
  • Experience conducting root‑cause analysis and developing corrective action plans.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Health Informatics, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in the health‑care industry, particularly with EHR systems, pharmacy benefit management, or telehealth platforms.
  • Certification in data governance (e.g., DAMA‑CDMP) or project management (e.g., PMP, Agile Scrum).
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, HITECH, and other health‑care compliance frameworks.
  • Experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams in a remote work environment.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to dissect large data sets, identify patterns, and propose data‑driven solutions.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of influencing and guiding cross‑functional teams toward common goals.
  • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of SAS, Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and deliver on time.
  • Communication: Clear, concise, and persuasive communication style for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Problem‑Solving: Creative approach to overcoming data quality challenges and operational bottlenecks.
