Position Summary

As the Lead Information Tasks Examiner at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in leading production support activities for a portfolio of data analytics products that support internal banking operations. This is not a traditional data entry role; rather, it is a sophisticated engineering and analytical position that requires technical acumen, leadership capabilities, and an unwavering commitment to operational excellence. You will serve as a key member in identifying, triaging, and resolving production incidents that impact our client data analytics platform, ensuring that our systems remain robust, secure, and high-performing at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead production support activities for a portfolio of data analytics products used to support internal banking operations at arenaflex.
• Act as a key contributor in the identification, triage, and resolution of production incidents affecting the client data analytics platform.
• Analyze complex technical challenges within a major big data environment, conducting in-depth assessments to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
• Lead research initiatives and create detailed reports related to ongoing production challenges, presenting findings to internal stakeholders with clarity and precision.
• Drive the development of new project processes and continuous platform enhancements that improve reliability, scalability, and security.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for onshore teams, ensuring seamless communication, accurate reporting, and timely delivery from offshore collaborators.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, identifying new methods, tools, and opportunities to elevate the team’s capabilities.
• Contribute to the establishment of performance standards for the team and ensure that all operations meet or exceed key performance metrics.
• Direct the daily Risk and Control workflow of operations, focusing on resolutions, methodology, and operational standards to ensure successful outcomes while redesigning and driving ongoing support improvements.
• Lead cross-functional teams to meet critical deadlines and drive new strategic initiatives forward.
• Review, approve, and execute recommended changes to operational plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate and consult with employees across departments to resolve initiatives and achieve technology mandates at arenaflex.
• Act as a mentor and technical guide to peers, helping to cultivate the next generation of engineering talent within the organization.

Essential Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in Information Security, data analytics, or a related field, demonstrated through a combination of work experience, professional training, military service, or formal education.
• Strong understanding of big data ecosystems, data lake architectures, and large-scale production support environments.
• Proven ability to lead incident triage, root cause analysis, and resolution efforts in mission-critical systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience supporting large-scale big data environments in a production capacity.
• 2+ years of experience delivering ETL, data warehousing, and data analytics capabilities on big data architectures such as Hadoop.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience using a combination of the following tools and platforms: HIVE, Pandas, Autosys, Grafana, and Splunk.
• Prior experience supporting Kafka and MongoDB in production environments.
• Experience working in the financial services or banking industry, with an understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring junior engineers and leading cross-functional project teams.
