Position Overview – Remote Customer Service Representative (Member Services)

We are seeking a dedicated, self‑motivated Remote Customer Service Representative to join our Member Services team. In this role, you will provide telephone assistance to arenaflex Medicaid members and health‑care providers, handling inquiries related to eligibility, provider changes, ID card requests, and more. Your mission is to deliver an exceptional, human‑centric experience on every call, ensuring members feel heard, respected, and supported.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound member and provider calls with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy.
  • Provide clear information on benefits, eligibility, prior authorizations, extra programs, and related services.
  • Maintain strict adherence to data‑security protocols—high‑speed internet via Ethernet cable only; Wi‑Fi is not permitted.
  • Utilize arenaflex‑provided equipment and software tools to document interactions and resolve issues.
  • Complete a comprehensive six‑week training program (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday‑Friday) and transition to full production schedule thereafter.
  • Meet and exceed performance standards, attendance requirements, and call‑quality goals set by the team.
  • Escalate complex cases to senior specialists while ensuring a seamless handoff for the member.
  • Participate in ongoing coaching sessions, knowledge‑base updates, and quality‑improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized home‑office environment that meets arenaflex’s ergonomic and privacy standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Residency within 50 miles of Charleston, WV, to enable occasional on‑site visits when technical issues prevent remote work.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a friendly, understandable manner.
  • Demonstrated self‑sufficiency and discipline to thrive in a remote work setting.
  • Reliable high‑speed internet connection (Ethernet) and a quiet, distraction‑free workspace.
  • Commitment to uphold arenaflex’s privacy, compliance, and security standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a remote call‑center environment, especially within health‑care or insurance domains.
  • Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare programs, including eligibility rules and provider networks.
  • Experience using customer‑relationship management (CRM) platforms and ticketing systems.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software tools and procedural updates.

Education & Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional certifications or coursework in health‑care administration, customer service, or related fields are a plus.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks

Pay Range: $17.00 – $25.15 per hour, based on experience, education, and geographic location.
