Position Overview

This full‑time equivalent (8‑hour) remote position is based in New Jersey, USA, and offers a competitive rate of $26 per hour. You will report to the Manager of Analytics and work closely with the Paid Media Data Science, Marketing, Product, and Finance groups. While the role is part‑time, the impact is full‑scale: you will help shape the strategic direction of arenaflex’s advertising investments and contribute to a culture of data‑driven excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data‑Driven Storytelling: Translate complex paid‑media datasets into clear, concise insights that inform senior leadership and operational teams.
  • Analytics Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain scalable analytics, BI, and data‑science solutions that improve visibility into paid‑media performance.
  • Collaboration & Modeling: Partner with the Paid Media Data Science and Marketing teams to build and refine media mix models, attribution frameworks, and forecasting tools.
  • Ad‑Hoc & Production Reporting: Create and sustain both scheduled and on‑demand reports using SQL, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI, and other visualization platforms.
  • Strategic Recommendations: Conduct deep‑dive analyses to identify root causes of performance gaps and deliver actionable recommendations that drive efficiency and growth.
  • Cross‑Functional Enablement: Serve as a data liaison for Marketing, Finance, and Product teams, helping them interpret analytics results and align tactics with business objectives.
  • Data Integration: Leverage internal data sources (arenaflex’s own analytics) and external market research to enrich analyses and provide a holistic view of the advertising ecosystem.
  • Customer Behavior Research: Design and execute studies that reveal consumer buying patterns, preferences, and emerging trends to inform product and promotional strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate data pipelines, streamline reporting processes, and enhance data quality across the organization.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum 2‑3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Consulting within an e‑commerce or digital advertising environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, window functions, and performance tuning.
  • Hands‑on experience with at least one major BI/visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight, MicroStrategy).
  • Demonstrated expertise in Excel and advanced analytics functions (e.g., pivot tables, Power Query, VBA).
  • Proven track record of delivering data‑driven insights that influence strategic decisions.
