Key Responsibilities

  • Enter patient and medication information accurately into arenaxflex pharmacy systems, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Assist licensed pharmacists in verifying prescription details, checking for drug interactions, and confirming dosage accuracy.
  • Provide exceptional virtual customer service by greeting patients, answering inquiries, and guiding them to appropriate over‑the‑counter (OTC) products.
  • Process prescription claims, correct errors, and resubmit claims in a timely manner to maintain optimal workflow efficiency.
  • Support inventory management tasks, including ordering, receiving, and documenting medication shipments, while adhering to arenaxflex’s safety and loss‑prevention protocols.
  • Participate in remote training modules, earn Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTC) through arenaxflex’s accredited apprenticeship program, and maintain certification status.
  • Collaborate with local health‑care providers, nursing homes, and community clinics to foster strong professional relationships and expand arenaxflex’s service footprint.
  • Assist in the coordination of clinical services such as blood and urine sample collection, ensuring proper labeling and handling according to regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to a clean, organized, and compliant virtual work environment, following all company policies and procedures.
  • Undertake special projects and additional duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or Store Supervisor.

Essential Qualifications

  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (excluding Puerto Rico).
  • High school diploma or GED; additional coursework in health‑care or related fields is a plus.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude for accurate medication counting, measuring, and weighing.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with pharmacy software, Microsoft Office Suite, and data entry platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and other privacy regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a customer‑focused mindset and the ability to resolve issues professionally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six months or more of retail or customer‑service experience, preferably in a pharmacy setting.
