Responsibilities

What You’ll Do: Lead a finance and accounting team and serve as a strategic partner to VPs across key portfolios and Finance Operations. Demonstrate strong leadership and effectively model core leadership behaviors. Manage and safeguard company assets while ensuring compliance with FAR, GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and public company requirements. Lead the Finance business line by aligning financial goals with corporate objectives, anticipating challenges, and driving corrective actions. Build strong cross-functional partnerships and maintain awareness of financial performance, culture, and competitive position. Drive continuous improvement by leading financial initiatives, partnering with program operations, and collaborating with corporate finance to deliver timely and accurate financial information. Key Responsibilities: Lead all financial functions for the program portfolio, including P&L ownership, cash and compliance management, FP&A, risk management, pricing, estimating, staffing, and strategic planning. Understand program operations and assess their financial impact. Partner with business and functional leaders, providing financial insights that guide decisions. Develop clearly articulated short‑ and long‑term financial plans and advise on proposed contracts. Meet service line P&L targets by anticipating and addressing financial impacts in a fast‑paced environment. Deliver accurate, timely financial analysis, reporting, and trend insights. Influence leaders at all levels and maintain strong cross‑functional relationships. Lead development and ongoing assessment of strategic financial plans. Exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and foster open communication and collaboration. Ensure financial guidance aligns with GAAP, CAS, FAR, and company policies; identify and mitigate compliance risks. Collaborate with Service Line Leads, Program Finance, FP&A, and the Assistant Controller on business plans, forecasts, and financial reviews. Recommend process and policy improvements, resolve complex financial issues, and oversee cash management, funding levels, billing, and collections. Support program Finance Managers to align with corporate objectives. Work with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance. Motivate, develop, and hold finance team members accountable. Perform personnel management duties, including hiring, coaching, evaluations, and succession planning. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Education:Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred Experience:Minimum of 10 to 15 years’ experience finance and/or accounting, including financial accounting. Government contract finance knowledge required Other Requirements:Must be a U.S. Citizen Knowledge of GAAP, CAS and FAR required. Some travel expected. Desired Qualifications: Experience:Experience working for a publicly traded company in Finance & Accounting. Proven track record of running and enhancing the financial operations of a portfolio Demonstrated experience in the refinement and enhancement of financial systems Demonstrated ability to optimize working capital Ability to identify, recruit, motivate, coach, develop and retain finance team Understanding of implementing and maintaining government rate pools SAP S4 experience a plus DoD Clearance not required, but preferred. Skills:Effective Communication/Organization:Strong written and oral communication skills required. Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving:Strong analytical skills required. Highly strategic/critical thinking skills required. Collaboration & Teamwork/Influence:Hands-on leader required. Software:Microsoft Office Suite 365, including SharePoint Technology:Company computer, printer, copy machine and other general office equipment. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.USD $170,000 - $200,000 Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
