What you’ll do: This role is responsible for performing core general accounting functions, including the preparation of timely and accurate monthly journal entries, accruals, and transaction processing. The EverPeak Accountant I ensures financial integrity by independently reconciling the general ledger and supporting GAAP financial reporting, management reports, and the annual audit. What you can expect: Prepare timely and accurate monthly journal entries Coordinate, process, reconcile and implement accurate transactions Prepare timely and accurate accruals, reconciliations and monthly financial reporting for the company trust and foundation Independently prepare accurate reconciliations between the general ledger and associated back up reports on a monthly basis Compile accurate data for monthly reports for management Assist with annual audit as required Prepare analysis for specific areas of accounting as requested ADDITIONAL DUTIES Continue to improve processes related to regular activities Responsible for maintaining all relevant controls related to job duties Perform other duties as assigned What you need to be successful: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required. Two years of accounting experience required. Must have strong attention to detail and ability to perform analysis and strong written and oral skills. Must be able to manage priorities and meet deadlines. WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: Regular attendance required. Extensive telephone and computer work. Ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and in a remote team environment. The compensation amount for this role is targeted at $71,350 to $74,500.
