For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Senior Infrastructure Architect. As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Cloud Network Engineer. Project Summary AIS is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer for an contract supporting a federal customer in a hybrid role in the DC/Maryland/Virginia (DMV) area.

Key Responsibilities

Supports the operation of the cloud backbone for network communications systems. Provides specifications and detailed schematics for cloud network architectures. Administer, monitor, install, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of systems. Conducts testing of network design Required For This Opportunity Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or closely related degree). At least 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software, virtual appliances, interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, firewalls, switches, gateways, etc. Understands how commodity cloud servers, operating systems and networks function, perform and scale. Must have an Active Secret Clearance. Certifications: IAT-2, 1 or more cloud certifications.

The targeted base salary range for this role is $154,000-$232,000 per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
