This role combines agronomic expertise, technical sales, and strategic expansion. Plant Nutrition / Specialty Crops Location: Remote (Home Office) Territory: CA (San Joaquin & Sacramento Valleys, CA Coast) + Pacific Northwest Travel: 50–70% Job Summary QualiTech is seeking a Technical Sales Agronomist to drive sales growth and business development. This role combines agronomic expertise, technical sales, and strategic expansion. Key Responsibilities - Achieve sales targets - Develop growth strategies - Build relationships with growers, PCAs, distributors - Design crop nutrition programs - Provide technical support - Conduct field trials - Train teams - Maintain CRM and forecasts - Utilize proprietary software for nutrient optimization Qualifications 5+ years of practical working experience in agriculture, with emphasis in specialty crop production, agronomy, plant nutrition, agriculture sales. Background in territory growth, and customer relationship management within the agricultural industry, including grower, PCA, distribution relationships. Demonstrated business development experience, including opening new markets, expanding retail partnerships, or supporting branch growth initiatives. Field-level agronomic experience with the ability to work directly with growers, PCAs, and retail partners to develop crop nutrition programs and recommendations. Expertise utilizing proprietary software, agronomic tools, or nutrient management platforms to support blend recommendations and crop planning. PCA and/or CCA certification required. Advanced degree or PHD in Agronomy or in related field is appreciated.
