Position Overview

arenaflex is seeking enthusiastic, detail‑oriented individuals to join our remote workforce as Data Entry & Pharmacy Customer Service Specialists. In this full‑time role, you will be the front line of our customer experience, handling transactions, supporting pharmacy operations, and ensuring that every interaction reflects arenaflex’s commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a warm, courteous, and efficient customer experience both in‑store (via remote tools) and over the phone.
  • Process sales transactions on the point‑of‑sale system, including cash handling, refunds, exchanges, discounts, and promotional offers.
  • Utilize arenaflex pharmacy systems to accurately enter patient and prescription data, verify medication details, and assist pharmacists with workflow tasks.
  • Identify and resolve customer inquiries, product location requests, and service concerns promptly, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked virtual work area; conduct inventory checks and assist with stock replenishment as directed.
  • Support pharmacy staff by preparing medication orders, counting and pouring pills, and performing double‑checks for potential drug interactions.
  • Report medication errors or discrepancies immediately to the pharmacist and follow arenaflex’s quality‑improvement protocols.
  • Handle non‑clinical calls, such as prescription refill requests and communication with healthcare providers, following privacy and compliance standards.
  • Assist with photo services, including operating photo kiosks, processing online orders, and providing guidance on product selection.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs, maintain required certifications (e.g., PTCB), and stay current on pharmacy regulations and industry trends.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Store Manager, Pharmacy Director, or senior leadership, including special projects and seasonal merchandising tasks.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic proficiency with computer systems, point‑of‑sale software, and internet navigation.
  • Strong numerical aptitude for accurate medication counting, pricing, and transaction processing.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • At least six months of experience in a retail environment, preferably within a pharmacy or health‑care setting.

  • Certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or willingness to obtain it within the first 90 days of employment.

  • Experience handling confidential health information in compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.
