Role Overview

arenaflex Visual Marketing is looking for a dynamic Senior Visual Marketing Manager to lead the design, execution, and optimization of in‑store visual merchandising initiatives. This role blends strategic planning with hands‑on project management, data entry, and cross‑functional collaboration. You will work closely with the Partner Lead, Marketing, Store Operations, and external agencies to create compelling visual experiences that drive sales, enhance brand perception, and improve the overall shopper journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Partner Lead to develop and maintain a comprehensive visual merchandising strategy aligned with arenaflex’s brand standards and business objectives.
  • Lead the end‑to‑end execution of in‑store visual marketing projects, including displays, fixtures, lighting, signage, and seasonal installations.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams—Marketing, Space Planning, Store Operations, and external vendors—to ensure timely delivery from concept through store rollout.
  • Utilize data and analytics to refine visual merchandising tactics, measuring impact on sales, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain visual merchandising tools, assets, and training guides for both corporate and field teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement by gathering feedback, conducting store visits, and implementing best practices across all categories (apparel, home, hardlines, etc.).
  • Facilitate quarterly visual merchandising workshops with Store Visual Teams to align on goals, timelines, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain meticulous data entry records for project timelines, budget allocations, and asset inventories, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior visual merchandisers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity, accountability, and professional growth.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Visual Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably within a large retail environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on in‑store retail experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of store operations and shopper behavior.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex projects from concept to execution.
  • Strong self‑motivation, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a data‑driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships at all organizational levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or certifications in Visual Merchandising, Retail Management, or Project Management.
  • Experience working with large‑box retailers or multinational retail chains.
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating and executing omni‑channel visual campaigns.
  • Hands‑on experience with 3D rendering software or space‑planning tools (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD).
  • Track record of delivering measurable ROI through visual merchandising initiatives.
  • Exposure to data analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for performance tracking.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Strategic Vision: Ability to translate brand strategy into compelling visual experiences that drive business results.
  • Project Management: Expertise in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and delivering multi‑disciplinary projects on time and within scope.
  • Creative Execution: Strong design sense, with the capacity to develop eye‑catching displays that align with brand guidelines.
  • Data‑Driven Decision Making: Comfortable analyzing sales data, foot‑traffic metrics, and customer insights to refine visual tactics.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with internal teams, external agencies, and store partners.
  • Communication: Clear, concise, and persuasive communication skills—both written and verbal.
