Key Responsibilities

  • Manage High Volume Incoming Calls: Handle large volumes of incoming calls and customer service inquiries with patience and efficiency. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking information, support, or assistance with various products and services.
  • Provide Comprehensive Information: Assist customers by providing accurate product and service information, answering questions, and guiding callers through processes and procedures. Your knowledge base will grow continuously as you work with diverse client companies.
  • Schedule Appointments: Coordinate and schedule appointments for home repair companies and other service providers based on customer needs and availability. You will use scheduling systems to ensure optimal matching of customer requirements with service delivery slots.
  • Assess Customer Needs: Identify and assess customers' specific needs to achieve satisfaction. This involves active listening, asking clarifying questions, and determining the most appropriate solutions or next steps.
  • Build Lasting Relationships: Establish sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication. Every interaction is an opportunity to create a positive, memorable experience that encourages customer loyalty.

Required Qualifications & Skills

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Residency Requirement: Must be a permanent resident of Illinois, Iowa, or Wisconsin. This is a mandatory requirement due to the nature of our client partnerships and operational needs.
  • Availability: Must be able to work weekends. Our service operations run seven days a week, and weekend availability is essential for providing comprehensive customer support.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient with the internet and data entry with the ability to swiftly navigate between multiple programs and systems. You should be comfortable learning new software applications quickly.
  • Typing Skills: Good typing skills are essential for efficient data entry and documentation. Aim for at least 35-40 words per minute with accuracy.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are fundamental. You must be able to articulate clearly, listen actively, and convey information professionally.
  • Phone Handling Skills: Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening abilities. You should be comfortable talking on the phone for extended periods and maintaining a positive, engaging demeanor.
  • Multitasking Abilities: Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. You will handle multiple customer inquiries simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Work-From-Home Technical Requirements

To ensure a productive and successful remote work experience, candidates must have the following technical setup:

  • Computer System: PC with at least Windows 7 operating system or newer. The computer should meet basic performance requirements for running multiple applications simultaneously.
