IAA - Product Manager, Post Sale Experience
About the Role
RB Global / IAA is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Product Manager to own the Post-Sale experience across Desktop and Mobile App within our buyer-facing digital automotive marketplace. This role is responsible for shaping and optimizing the end-to-end journey after a buyer decides to purchase—spanning checkout, vehicle payment, transportation ordering, and title document delivery preferences. You will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and third-party vendors to deliver a smooth, intuitive, and consistent post-sale experience. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical skills with a deep understanding of user behavior and online commerce. This is a high-impact role shaping the strategic direction of our buyer-facing marketplace at RB Global.
What You'll Do
Own and evolve the post-sale buyer journey across checkout, payment, transportation, and title document delivery on Desktop and Mobile App Ensure a smooth, intuitive, and consistent UX across all post-sale flows, informed by user research and behavioral data Lead and manage third-party integrations, including payment providers such as MoneyGram, Western Union, PayPal, and emerging digital wallets Collaborate with engineering on API design and integration, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable data exchange with partners Monitor key performance indicators (checkout completion, payment success, delivery selection usage, error rates) and iterate accordingly Use data, experimentation, and customer insights to drive product decisions Build and execute a product roadmap aligned with RB Global growth objectives and strategy Translate insights into clear product requirements, user stories, and backlogs; lead efforts to prioritize development team activities Identify new opportunities that positively impact buyer-facing applications Ensure high product quality by staying deeply immersed in product deliverables and releases Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders; keep product teams updated with no surprises Balance scope, priority, technical risk, and business impact across initiatives and multiple business units Research competitive features in the marketplace and propose tactics to address threats or capture opportunities What Success Looks Like A clear, executed roadmap that drives post-sale engagement and revenue Improved checkout completion rates and payment success metrics Smooth and reliable third-party integrations with payment and transportation vendors Strong cross-functional alignment and predictable delivery Data-informed decisions that result in measurable business value A seamless and intuitive post-sale buyer experience across Desktop and Mobile App Who You Are A strong advocate for the customer, balanced with business and financial outcomes Comfortable operating in fast-changing environments with an ability to take calculated risks Confident making decisions with minimal direction and demonstrating initiative beyond routine requirements Skilled at influencing without authority and persuasively communicating ideas and solutions Highly organized, accountable, and delivery-focused Analytical, pragmatic, and results-oriented A collaborative team player with strong diplomacy, conflict resolution, and written communication skills A coach and mentor who takes responsibility for helping others learn and grow High level of integrity, ethics, and ability to perform in high-pressure situations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 5+ years of Product Management or Product Development experience, with a track record of successfully driving results Experience owning customer-facing digital products (marketplace, eCommerce, or SaaS) Experience managing third-party integrations, particularly with payment providers or logistics platforms Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and collaborate with engineering on API design Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, and marketing Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate business requirements and value to internal and external stakeholders Working Relationships You will partner closely with: Engineering & Technology leaders (Director, Software Engineering) Marketing & Transportation Strategy (Director, Marketing, Transportation Strategy) Business stakeholders across RB Global Customers and buyers for feedback and insights External vendors (financial, transportation) for integrations and business continuity Travel Occasional travel required.
