[Remote] Product Engineer I - AiBLE CST - Remote within USA
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Medtronic is a global leader in healthcare technology dedicated to alleviating pain and restoring health. They are seeking a Product Engineer I to join their AiBLE Clinic Team, where the role involves delivering clinical, technical, and sales support to surgeons and hospital staff, as well as designing patient-specific implants and driving post-operative data analytics.
Responsibilities
- Utilize proprietary software to:
- Perform clinical X-ray measurements
- Simulate surgical corrections based on the surgeon’s case plan and preferences
- Design patient-specific implants aligned with planned corrections
- Deliver real-time measurement and planning support for high-volume sites
- Collect post-operative data and develop detailed outcome analyses
- Review and discuss surgical plans with surgeons and their teams
- Partner with hospital staff and sales representatives to coordinate and manage cases
- Provide technical support in the operating room, as needed
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Biology or Biotechnology with minimum of 0 years of experience
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering
- Prior experience in spine or related clinical applications preferred
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply complex concepts
