  • Maintain accurate records of data entry activities, track project milestones, and generate status updates for senior leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure that geographic insights align with broader business objectives.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Cartography, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • At least two years of hands‑on experience working with geographic information systems or related data platforms.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of GIS concepts, spatial data structures, and map projection systems.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, with the ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.
  • Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with Adobe Acrobat for document handling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact professionally with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience using MapInfo Professional or Esri ArcGIS for map creation and spatial analysis.
  • Exposure to retail or consumer‑goods market research environments, particularly in the context of geographic trend analysis.
  • Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL) and scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automating data workflows.
  • Knowledge of data‑driven marketing concepts and the ability to support sales‑enablement initiatives with geographic insights.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to dissect large datasets, identify patterns, and present findings in a concise, business‑focused manner.
