Remote Project Engineer
A Lead Project Engineer job is available courtesy of Akkodis. This position is responsible for overseeing the technical execution and delivery of engineering projects from concept through completion. This role leads cross-functional teams, ensures design integrity, manages project timelines and budgets, and serves as the primary technical point of contact for stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering expertise with leadership, communication, and project management skills. Will consider remote candidates. Pay: $60/hour up to $70/hour Lead Project Engineer Responsibilities
- Serves as the technical leader/manager to develop a scope of work and plan schedule and monitor engineering activities for customer projects. Provide technical leadership and interface with Proposal Management, Cost Estimating, Partners, Customers, Product Engineering, Sourcing, Engineering sub-contractors.
- Serve as the technical authority and decision-maker for assigned projects
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, quality, and operations
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors Degree
- Proven experience successfully delivering complex engineering projects
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles
- Experience with project management tools
- Strong communication skills
