Key Responsibilities

  • Provide inbound phone support to arenaflex members across Arizona, delivering courteous, accurate, and timely assistance.
  • Identify, research, process, and resolve member inquiries related to contracts, coverage changes, eligibility, claims, arenaflex programs, and provider networks.
  • Document each interaction meticulously in arenaflex’s CRM and claims systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Meet or exceed established quality, quantity, and timeliness metrics while maintaining a high level of member satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, external health plans, providers, and government agencies to gather information and achieve resolution.
  • Stay current on arenaflex policies, procedures, and program updates, translating complex information into clear, understandable language for members.
  • Maintain confidentiality of member health information in accordance with HIPAA and arenaflex’s privacy standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing insights from member interactions and suggesting process enhancements.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in health insurance, claims examination, call‑center operations, medical office support, or a related healthcare field.
  • High school diploma or GED; additional education or certifications in health administration, customer service, or related areas are a plus.
  • Intermediate proficiency with PC applications (Microsoft Office, web browsers, and CRM platforms).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to compose professional correspondence and explain policies clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to listen actively, empathize, and resolve issues while maintaining a positive, solution‑focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while staying aligned with team goals and organizational standards.
