About the Role

World Travel Holdings is seeking an experienced Search Marketing Manager with 7–10 years of hands‑on experience leading and scaling sophisticated Search Engine Marketing (SEM) programs. This role blends strategy and execution, owning the vision, performance, and day‑to‑day optimization of paid search across a portfolio of owned brands. The ideal candidate is a strategic, highly analytical marketer and strong cross‑functional partner who can translate business objectives into scalable, high‑impact search strategies. You will play a key role in driving growth, efficiency, and competitive advantage through search, leveraging automation, AI, and emerging technologies in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. This is a fully remote role offering the opportunity to influence high‑impact marketing initiatives and deliver measurable business results.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall search marketing strategy aligned with business growth and performance objectives.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and ongoing optimization of complex SEM programs across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Search Ads 360, and related platforms.
  • Own performance across large, multi‑million‑dollar budgets, driving efficiency, scalable growth, and strong return on ad spend.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to marketing leadership, providing perspective on search trends, investment opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Leverage AI, automation, and platform innovations to enhance bidding, targeting, messaging, and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze performance data to identify insights, trends, and opportunities that inform both near‑term optimizations and long‑term strategy.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders and cross‑functional partners.
  • Define and lead experimentation and testing roadmaps that support continuous improvement across the SEM program.
  • Establish and maintain best practices, processes, and documentation as the in‑house SEM subject matter expert.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with eCommerce, brand, analytics, design, merchandising, and technology teams to deliver integrated initiatives.
  • Demonstrate curiosity and passion for the evolving digital marketing landscape, staying current on platform changes, consumer behavior, and emerging trends.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of experience managing and scaling large, complex SEM programs with a proven track record of achieving performance goals.
  • Deep expertise across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Search Ads 360, and related search platforms.
  • Strong analytical acumen with fluency in tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, Excel, and similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to set strategic direction while remaining hands‑on in execution and optimization.
  • Experience leveraging AI, automation, and advanced bidding technologies to drive efficiency and performance in paid search.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven, results‑oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex insights for diverse stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits Estimated Pay Range: $110,000.00 – $120,000.00 annually
