About arenaflex

arenaflex is a global leader in logistics, technology‑driven supply chain solutions, and data‑intensive services. With a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and a people‑first culture, arenaflex empowers its teams to turn massive data streams into actionable insights that keep the world moving. As part of arenaflex’s rapidly expanding data ecosystem, you will join a collaborative environment where curiosity is rewarded, learning is continuous, and every contribution matters.

Why This Role Matters

In today’s hyper‑connected world, data is the lifeblood of every decision. arenaflex’s data pipelines ingest, transform, and deliver billions of records each day, supporting everything from package tracking to predictive analytics. As an Entry‑Level Data Entry & Pipeline Support Associate, you will be the first line of defense in ensuring that data flows smoothly, accurately, and securely across the organization. This role offers a unique launchpad for anyone eager to start a career in data engineering, cloud technologies, and large‑scale system operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Ingestion & Refresh: Assist in pulling data from a variety of sources, ensuring that incoming feeds are correctly staged for downstream processing.
  • Pipeline Maintenance: Monitor and support existing data pipelines, troubleshooting performance bottlenecks and escalating L3 issues when necessary.
  • Parsing & Validation: Execute parsers, validators, and transformers to reformat raw data, enforce schema compliance, and improve overall data quality.
  • Documentation & Best Practices: Contribute to reusable code libraries, design patterns, and documentation that enable future teams to adopt proven solutions quickly.
  • Collaboration: Act as a liaison between IT, business analysts, software developers, and data scientists, translating technical requirements into clear, actionable tasks.
  • Continuous Improvement: Propose enhancements to existing pipelines, suggest automation opportunities, and participate in code reviews to uphold high standards.
  • Support & Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior teammates, share knowledge, and help build a culture of learning and mutual support.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field – or equivalent practical experience.
  • Fundamental understanding of data structures, algorithms, and relational as well as non‑relational databases.
  • Exposure to cloud environments and an eagerness to learn arenaflex’s cloud stack (formerly known as Azure).
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to dissect complex data problems and propose logical solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Self‑motivation, curiosity, and a passion for continuous learning in fast‑moving technology landscapes.

Preferred Qualifications & Technical Skills

  • Hands‑on experience with any of the following arenaflex services: arenaflex Data Factory, arenaflex Databricks, arenaflex SQL, arenaflex Synapse, arenaflex Machine Learning, arenaflex Kubernetes Service, arenaflex Event Hubs, or arenaflex Power Platform (PowerBI, PowerApp, PowerAutomate).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, and familiarity with PySpark or Spark‑SQL for large‑scale data processing.
  • Experience working with streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka) and batch formats like JSON, XML, Parquet, Avro.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines, preferably using arenaflex DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform for provisioning cloud resources.
  • Exposure to container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and micro‑service architectures.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Problem‑Solving: Ability to diagnose obscure data anomalies, trace root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable working in cross‑functional teams, respecting diverse perspectives, and building consensus.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities shift quickly and new technologies emerge regularly.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to data validation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal standards.
  • Growth Mindset: Eagerness to acquire new skills, pursue certifications, and take on increasing responsibilities.
