Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with utility and product teams to capture, refine, and document business requirements derived from live chat interactions.
  • Gather, cleanse, and enrich customer voice data, ensuring it is ready for ingestion into arenaflex’s enterprise‑wide data lake and analytics platform.
  • Design and construct robust data models that support efficient data processing, standardized metric definitions, and scalable reporting.
  • Leverage big‑data technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to transform raw chat logs into actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain automated pipelines that enable batch and real‑time analytics, guaranteeing data accuracy through rigorous testing and validation.
  • Provide recommendations to improve data handling efficiency across the massive data ecosystem, identifying bottlenecks and proposing optimization strategies.
  • Drive customer story analysis, translating qualitative feedback into quantitative models that inform product roadmaps and service enhancements.
  • Partner with software development teams to design, test, and deploy automation tools that streamline data entry and validation processes.
  • Proactively identify repetitive manual tasks and automate them, boosting operational efficiency and reducing error rates.
  • Work hand‑in‑hand with Global Service Networks (GSN) and Application Engineering Teams (AET) to prioritize, define, and monitor data for multiple use cases within the VOC “Stop‑to‑Quit” framework.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, and shell scripting in a production environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with product managers and business analysts to translate functional requirements into technical deliverables.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and incremental product releases.
  • Proven track record of delivering high‑quality data pipelines that meet strict accuracy and latency requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional typing speed (minimum 70 WPM) with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in customer service or data entry environments is highly desirable.
