Position Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic, detail‑oriented individuals who reside in Florida (within a 75‑mile radius of our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy hub at 9310 Southpark Center Loop, Orlando, FL 32819) to join our remote team as Customer Service Representatives. In this role, you will be the vital link between patients receiving life‑sustaining specialty drug therapy and the internal teams that ensure those medications are processed accurately, promptly, and compassionately.

  • 11:30 am – 8:00 pm EST
  • 12:30 pm – 9:00 pm EST

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Interaction & Support: Answer inbound calls with empathy, guide patients through the specialty medication ordering process, and address any concerns related to their therapy.
  • Order Coordination: Verify new patient medication orders, process reorders, and ensure all prescription details are accurately entered into the pharmacy information system.
  • Benefits Verification: Confirm and revivify patient insurance benefits, collect copay amounts, and communicate financial responsibilities clearly.
  • Authorization Management: Obtain prior authorizations from insurers, collaborate with healthcare providers, and resolve any clinical or financial barriers that could delay therapy.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams—including pharmacy technicians, clinical specialists, and billing experts—to troubleshoot complex cases and maintain seamless order flow.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Accurately document all interactions, maintain compliance with HIPAA and arenaflex policies, and ensure data integrity within the system.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback on workflow enhancements, share best practices, and contribute to training initiatives that elevate the overall patient experience.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year experience in a high‑volume customer service environment, preferably handling complex inquiries over the phone.
  • Proficiency with Windows‑based applications, including Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email platforms.
  • Demonstrated computer keyboarding skills with a strong aptitude for fast, accurate data entry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted).
  • Residency in Florida and ability to work within a 75‑mile radius of the Orlando specialty pharmacy location.

Preferred Qualifications & Desirable Experience

  • Background in health care, pharmacy, or related fields, with familiarity in benefits, insurance processes, prescription terminology, and medical jargon.
  • Experience using pharmacy management or electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a calm, patient‑focused demeanor.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and a track record of resolving escalated issues independently.
