Position Summary

arenaflex is seeking a meticulous and detail‑oriented Data Entry Specialist to support its critical data management functions on a part‑time, remote basis. In this role, you will be the guardian of data integrity, ensuring that information flowing through multiple departments is accurate, up‑to‑date, and readily accessible. Your contributions will directly impact operational decision‑making, customer service quality, and regulatory compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Data Entry & Maintenance

  • Accurately input, update, and verify data across arenaflex’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, and specialized aviation databases.
  • Perform routine data cleansing activities to eliminate duplicates, correct inconsistencies, and uphold the highest standards of data quality.
  • Ensure that all entries adhere to established naming conventions, formatting rules, and security protocols.

Documentation Management

  • Maintain organized, searchable records of processed information, including logs, audit trails, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist in the creation, revision, and archiving of data‑related documentation such as SOPs, data dictionaries, and user guides.
  • Collaborate with compliance teams to guarantee that documentation meets internal and external regulatory requirements.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with cross‑functional teams—including finance, operations, customer service, and IT—to address data‑related queries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Provide clear, concise updates on data status, issues, and resolutions through remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom).
  • Participate in regular virtual meetings to share insights, suggest improvements, and align data initiatives with broader business objectives.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct systematic data quality checks, generate validation reports, and flag anomalies for corrective action.
  • Contribute to ongoing process‑enhancement projects, offering ideas for automation, workflow optimization, and error‑reduction strategies.
  • Document best practices and lessons learned to build a knowledge base that supports future data entry specialists.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 1‑2 years of hands‑on data entry experience, preferably in a remote or distributed work environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to navigate data entry software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, proprietary arenaflex tools) and familiarity with basic database concepts.
  • Attention to Detail: Proven track record of delivering error‑free work, with a keen eye for spotting inconsistencies and correcting them efficiently.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain productivity without direct supervision.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, capable of articulating data issues and solutions clearly to diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with aviation‑specific data systems or industry‑standard platforms such as Sabre, Amadeus, or similar.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS) as they apply to the airline sector.
  • Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., macros, RPA) that can streamline repetitive data entry tasks.
  • Previous remote work experience with a home office setup that meets ergonomic and connectivity standards.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret data trends, identify root causes of errors, and propose actionable solutions.
  • Technological Agility: Comfort with cloud‑based collaboration platforms, file‑sharing services, and virtual meeting tools.
  • Problem‑Solving: Proactive approach to troubleshooting data discrepancies and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Reliability: Consistent attendance, punctuality, and adherence to agreed‑upon work schedules.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn new systems, adapt to evolving processes, and embrace change in a fast‑paced industry.

  • Mentorship from senior analysts and data architects who can guide you toward more advanced roles such as Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Specialist, or Process Improvement Lead.
  • Opportunities to participate in cross‑departmental projects, gaining exposure to finance, operations, and customer experience functions.
