As a Member Services Representative, you will be at the front line of this operation, handling high‑volume transaction processing, resolving member inquiries, and ensuring strict compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily transaction processing, including ACH, wire, remote deposit, mobile deposit, ATM, and image‑enabled product transactions.
  • Balance and reconcile general ledger (GL) accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to NACHA and Federal banking regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other financial institutions to resolve transaction discrepancies.
  • Assist multiple departments with fraud investigations, member inquiries, and accounting ledger adjustments.
  • Process mortgage payments, multi‑account deposits, credit card payments, and a variety of loan types (IRA, bankruptcy, payoff examinations).
  • Review, approve, and audit remote deposit, mobile deposit, and ATM transactions for compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Log, analyze, and post necessary GL entries, account changes, and returns, maintaining a clear audit trail.
  • Execute stop payments, check batching, and daily balancing procedures to close departmental books accurately.
  • Gather and verify information from members to ensure timely and correct processing of domestic and international fund transfers.
  • Research and confirm inbound and outbound fund transfer details, communicating effectively with members to explain transfer processes and regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all member data, complying with the Bank Secrecy Act and other relevant regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing compliance training and audits to uphold arenaflex’s high standards of operational integrity.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; additional coursework in finance, accounting, or related fields is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1‑2 years in a customer service or member service role, preferably within a banking or credit union environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and familiarity with banking software platforms such as Episys or Symitar.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of NACHA rules, Federal Reserve regulations, and the Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Analytical Ability: Strong numerical aptitude, capable of performing accurate calculations and data analysis under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience handling ACH, wire, and remote deposit transactions.
  • Certification or coursework in compliance, anti‑money‑laundering (AML), or fraud detection.
  • Experience with digital banking platforms and mobile payment solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to train peers and cross‑teach within a department.
