Position Overview

As a key member of our claims coordination team, you will be responsible for entering, verifying, and managing critical claims data, following up on incomplete information, reviewing invoices for accuracy, and compiling reports that support operational decision-making. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in structured, detail-focused work and who thrive in a remote, part-time capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate Data Entry: Perform precise and timely entry of claims information into our proprietary claims management systems, ensuring that all records are complete, consistent, and correctly formatted.
  • Follow-Up on Missing Information: Proactively reach out to internal departments, customers, or external partners to gather missing documentation or clarification needed to process claims efficiently.
  • Invoice Review and Verification: Carefully review incoming invoices related to claim processing, verifying accuracy against established records and flagging any discrepancies for resolution.
  • Report Compilation: Generate and compile reports from claims management systems, summarizing key data points for use by leadership, auditors, and operational stakeholders.
  • Customer Service Support: Provide professional, courteous, and prompt assistance to inquiries related to claims, maintaining a high standard of communication and problem-solving.
  • Compliance and Confidentiality: Handle all sensitive information in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations, maintaining strict confidentiality at all times.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data entry workflows, enhance accuracy, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of claims processing procedures.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of six months to one year of work experience in a data entry, administrative, customer service, or related role. Entry-level candidates with strong aptitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in typing, navigating web-based applications, and using standard office software such as email, spreadsheets, and word processing tools.
  • Typing Proficiency: Comfortable typing at a speed and accuracy level suitable for high-volume data entry tasks.
  • Legal Eligibility: Must be 18 years of age or older, or otherwise able to demonstrate legal capacity to enter into an employment contract.
