The Product Manager role involves defining product vision and strategy, leading product initiatives, and connecting business and technology teams to deliver user-first products.

Responsibilities

  • Define product vision and strategy and own the roadmap for merchant reporting, insights, and data experiences, ensuring merchants can easily understand and act on their business performance
  • Lead product initiatives through research, discovery, design, delivery, and deduction
  • Translate complex data into meaningful insights and storytelling, enabling merchants to make confident, data-driven decisions
  • Create intuitive dashboards, reporting workflows, and data visualizations that provide merchants with clarity on sales, operations, and customer behavior
  • Develop success metrics that guide prioritization and measure the impact of reporting and data experiences
  • Define, document, and review requirements with stakeholders and engineering
  • Facilitate beta testing to recommend improvements to product prior to launch
  • Communicate development status and go-to-market strategy
  • Develop and write training content to ensure alignment of product knowledge internally and externally (sales)
  • Define and analyze data driven metrics that inform success
  • Champion the merchant and their customers to offer a stable, secure, and seamless payments experience
  • Collect and prioritize feedback and requests from merchants, sales partners, and the organization
  • Research and understand industry trends and the competitive landscape

Skills

  • BA/BS in a quantitative or technical field
  • 2+ years experience in product management in the financial services coupled with deep knowledge and passion for payments
  • Ability to think like a small business owner
  • Creative and strategic product thinker
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to identify user challenges and needs
  • Ability to positively influence others and maintain effective business relationships
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work through uncertainty
  • Proven track record of building products from inception to execution
  • Working knowledge of the agile development process
  • Experience in business operations and reporting
  • Experience in Payments software is strongly preferred
