[Remote] Empower Test Analyst | Senior QA Analyst (Empower LOS / Mortgage)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Pacer Group is seeking a highly meticulous Senior Test Analyst with extensive experience in IT QA to support a major test automation initiative in the mortgage technology sector. In this fully remote role, the candidate will bridge business requirements and automation engineering by developing detailed manual test scripts for the Empower Loan Origination System and digital lending platforms.

Responsibilities

• Review completed requirements and architect highly detailed, manual, click-level test scripts to be utilized by automation engineers
• Execute comprehensive functional and end-to-end testing across the Empower LOS and new proprietary Loan Officer Digital systems
• Validate complex mortgage lending workflows, business scenarios, and compliance-related processes, ensuring adherence to regulations like TRID
• Identify, document, and report system defects and anomalies with high precision to engineering teams
• Proactively identify and escalate issues when functional or regulatory gaps are discovered during the testing lifecycle
• Collaborate seamlessly with release management, business units, and automation teams during active testing and deployment cycles

Skills

• 7+ years of experience in manual software testing and test case creation
• Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with Empower Loan Origination System (LOS)
• Proven ability to translate complex requirements into highly detailed, click-level test scripts for automation teams
• Deep understanding of end-to-end mortgage lending workflows and business scenarios
• Strong analytical, documentation, and defect management skills
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance concepts affecting mortgage systems (e.g., TRID workflows)
• Prior experience testing proprietary Loan Officer Digital systems
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly working with release teams, business stakeholders, and automation engineers
