[Remote] Senior Account Executive
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Jackson James is a Shopify Partner agency seeking a Senior Account Executive to manage a full-cycle sales role. The role involves generating and managing pipeline, conducting discovery and demos, building proposals, and closing new merchant accounts while collaborating closely with Shopify's sales teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle Manage opportunities end-to-end from first touch through discovery, proposal, negotiation, and close
- Build and manage pipeline Generate new business through a mix of inbound (Shopify referrals, marketplace, marketing-sourced leads) and proactive outbound prospecting. Maintain enough qualified pipeline to consistently hit and exceed quota
- Sell consultatively Lead value-based conversations with founders, ecommerce managers, and marketing leaders. Diagnose merchant challenges across migration, design, development, conversion, retention, and growth, and position the right solution with clear ROI
- Co-sell within the Shopify ecosystem Build and maintain strong relationships with Shopify Partner Managers and Account Executives to source referrals, support co-selling motions, and stay close to platform updates, programs, and opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally Partner with delivery, solutions/engineering, and marketing to scope work accurately, shape proposals and statements of work, and ensure a smooth handoff from sale to onboarding
Skills
- Experience selling within the Shopify ecosystem (Shopify / Shopify Plus, apps, agencies) strongly preferred
- Strong discovery, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Comfort with CRM and modern sales tooling (e.g. HubSpot or Salesforce, outbound/prospecting tools)
