  • *Job Summary**

As a remote medical data entry specialist, you will be responsible for working through CMS portals, processing cases, and entering data into our database. You will review cases for eligibility, ensuring that all necessary information is accurate and complete. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be essential in maintaining high-quality customer service and compliance with regulatory and company standards.

  • *Key Responsibilities**

• Work through CMS portals to process cases and enter data into our database

  • Review cases for eligibility, ensuring that all necessary information is accurate and complete
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients via email, responding promptly to inquiries and concerns
  • Utilize appropriate systems and databases to enter client or examine information and retrieve information as needed
  • Pull medical records from clients' external sites and upload them into our internal database
  • Ensure that all medical records are complete and properly filled out
  • Assign medical records to reviewers for insight on treatment or diagnosis, helping insurance companies decide whether to approve or deny claims
  • *Hours and Work Environment**

• This is a fully remote position, requiring a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace

  • Work hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm CST
  • You will be working independently, but will have regular check-ins with our team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • *Additional Skills and Qualifications**

• 1+ year of data entry experience, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting

  • 1+ year of patient access experience, with a strong understanding of medical records and billing processes
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams
  • *Pay and Benefits**

• Competitive hourly rate of $15.00
