Content Writer ( Med Spas)
Job Title: Marketing Specialist / Content Writer (Healthcare & Med Spa Focus) Location: Remote (US or Canada preferred) Position Type: Hourly (5-10 hours per week, with potential to increase as the company grows) Company Overview We are a marketing agency dedicated to helping med spas and doctors grow through innovative, ROI-driven strategies. Job Description / Overview As a Content Writer, you’ll create compelling copy for social media, emails, ads, SMS campaigns, and web content while supporting client campaigns. You’ll also contribute to social media planning when needed. We’re looking for a creative writer with a great sense of humor who can make marketing feel human, clever, and on-brand—without sounding cheesy. At the same time, this role requires high attention to detail: spelling, grammar, formatting, and links must be checked before you submit work. Clean copy is non-negotiable. The right candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of projects, meets deadlines, and brings a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Write and develop engaging copy for client social media accounts (captions, hooks, story text, basic hashtags as needed). Create social media captions and content for our agency brand (MedSpaScaler), including promotional and educational posts. Write podcast episode descriptions (titles, summaries, timestamps/sections if provided, and SEO-friendly show notes when needed). Create conversion-focused copy for landing pages used in Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns (headline, subhead, benefits, FAQs, CTA, and compliance-friendly wording). Write marketing emails, SMS messages, and web copy for client campaigns. Assist with social media planning and scheduling based on a content calendar. Brainstorm creative campaign ideas (holiday, seasonal, event-based) Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Proofread all work before submitting (spelling, grammar, clarity, formatting, link checks).
Qualifications
Proven experience in marketing, copywriting, or social media management (healthcare/med spa experience is a strong plus). Great sense of humor and the ability to write witty, engaging copy that still feels professional and on-brand. Strong creative writing skills—you know how to be clever without being cringe. Excellent attention to detail (you naturally catch typos and inconsistencies). Ability to manage deadlines and deliver on time. Organized, self-motivated, and responsive communicator. Quick learner, adaptable, and eager to contribute new ideas. Paid Test Task Selected candidates will be invited to complete a paid test task to ensure it’s a strong fit on both sides.
