AI-First Video Editor — Social Clips & Paid Ads
Company: PersonaOS / Homegrown Systems Location: Remote Type: Full-Time Compensation: $80,000–$100,000 base + performance bonus opportunities About PersonaOS PersonaOS is an AI-powered growth marketing platform and managed service that helps brands create, test, and scale better creative faster. We work across paid ads, UGC-style videos, social clips, static ads, landing page creative, AI-generated content, podcast clips, founder content, and high-volume creative testing. We’re looking for an AI-first video editor who can help us produce a high volume of strong social clips and ad creative for PersonaOS and our clients. This is not a traditional video editing role. We need someone who understands editing, social content, paid ads, AI tools, speed, and creative production systems. ⸻ The Role You’ll be responsible for editing short-form social content and paid ad creative. This includes:
- Podcast clips
- Founder clips
- Interview clips
- Educational clips
- UGC-style ads
- Product demo ads
- Explainer ads
- Testimonial-style ads
- Static ads turned into motion ads
- AI-generated video clips
- Paid social ad variations
The goal is not to make one perfect video. The goal is to help PersonaOS create a fast, repeatable creative production engine that can produce a lot of usable clips and ads quickly. ⸻ What You’ll Do Edit Social Clips Turn long-form content into short-form clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other platforms. You should be able to find the strongest moments, tighten pacing, add captions, clean up audio, and make clips feel native to each platform. Edit Paid Social Ads Create short-form paid social ads for Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other ad platforms. You’ll edit videos that are designed to sell, not just look good. You should understand hooks, pacing, captions, pattern interrupts, product moments, CTAs, and direct-response creative. Use AI to Move Faster This is a key part of the role. We want someone who already uses AI tools to improve speed, output, and quality. You may use AI for:
- Clipping long-form content
- Finding strong moments
- Generating captions
- Cleaning up audio
- Creating B-roll
- Animating static ads
- Generating video scenes
- Creating ad variations
- Repurposing content across platforms
- Improving workflow and turnaround time
We don’t want someone who sees AI as a threat. We want someone who sees AI as leverage. Create High-Volume Creative Variations PersonaOS is built around creative testing. You’ll help create multiple versions from the same source material. Examples:
- 5 different hooks from one video
- 3 different caption styles
- Multiple CTA endings
- Different pacing versions
- Organic and paid versions of the same clip
- Different music/background versions
- Multiple ad variations from one concept
