About the Role

As a Remote Licensed Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for supporting one of the largest insurance providers in the U.S. Your primary focus will be on assisting customers with entry-level auto and property policies, addressing their questions, concerns, and needs in a professional and empathetic manner. You will receive, review, and process inbound calls regarding customer insurance policies, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. While waiting for your license to be processed, you will initially handle billing calls, ensuring a seamless transition into your role.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Process and review customer insurance policies, addressing questions and concerns related to policy coverage, billing, and modifications
• Utilize system tools to search for answers and information, navigating complex systems with ease
• Demonstrate active listening skills, empathy, and critical thinking to resolve complex customer situations
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences, working independently or as part of a team as needed
• Maintain a quiet, distraction-free, and dedicated work environment, adhering to blithequark's remote work requirements

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Have a strong passion for customer service, with a personal drive to serve and display compassion
• Possess excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to manage emotions and show resiliency in stressful situations
• Be comfortable working in a remote environment, with a reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace
• Reside in Oklahoma, with the possibility of being offered an onsite role if you live within 50 miles of a blithequark site

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• 6 months to 1 year of relevant work experience in customer service or a related field
• Previous experience in the insurance industry, with knowledge of insurance products and policies
• Strong technical skills, with the ability to navigate complex systems and utilize computer software with ease
