Admissions Officer II (Regional Recruiter - NYC)
The University of Florida is hiring a Regional Admissions Officer II to manage recruitment strategy and territory operations in the New York City area. The role involves representing the university, engaging with prospective students and families, conducting admissions reviews, and organizing recruitment events to support enrollment goals. Highlights
- Drive recruitment and territory management for New York City as the primary admissions representative.
- Travel to high schools, colleges, and regional fairs to promote the University of Florida and its admission pathways.
- Build relationships with school counselors and college advisors and guide prospective students and families through the admissions process.
- Execute recruitment events, yield initiatives, and plan logistics to meet enrollment goals.
- Participate in holistic review of freshman applications, assessing academic records and personal statements.
- Master’s degree required or bachelor’s degree with two years relevant experience; valid driver’s license and passport (or ability to obtain) mandatory.
- Experience with student recruitment or admissions preferred along with strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Annual salary is $70,000 with benefits including health, dental, vision insurance, state retirement plans, paid time off, tuition assistance, and eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
- Role requires working remotely with a home office located within the five boroughs of New York City.
