A top firm in the Due Diligence and Risk Mitigation space seeks a Lead Due Diligence Investigator who ideally also knows quality control to come in and help lead a team of investigators Job Details Job Details We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lead Due Diligence Investigator to join our dynamic legal team. This is a 100% remote position that offers you the opportunity to work from anywhere. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading due diligence investigations and ensuring quality control in all operations. This position requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. The Lead Investigator will be at the forefront of our investigative team, managing complex cases, and ensuring that all investigations are conducted in a manner that upholds the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Lead Due Diligence Investigator, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 1. Leading and conducting comprehensive due diligence investigations. 2. Ensuring that all investigations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. 3. Implementing and maintaining quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of investigations. 4. Training and mentoring junior investigators, providing guidance and feedback to improve their investigative skills and knowledge. 5. Collaborating with other team members to develop and implement investigative strategies. 6. Preparing and presenting detailed reports of investigation findings to senior management and clients. 7. Continually enhancing your knowledge of due diligence and investigative techniques, as well as relevant laws and regulations. 8. Proactively identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications: 1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in due diligence investigations or a related field. 2. Proven experience in implementing and maintaining quality control measures. 3. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. 4. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to various stakeholders. 5. A high level of integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. 6. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. 7. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to train and mentor junior investigators. 8. A deep understanding of relevant laws and regulations. 9. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. 10. Proficiency in using investigative tools and software. 11. A bachelor's degree in law, criminal justice, or a related field is preferred.
