Senior Onboarding Accounting Specialist
Individual applicants residing in the US only About the role As an Senior Onboarding Accounting Specialist, you’ll be the first point of contact for new clients—guiding them through system setup, data clean-up, and preparing their accounts for ongoing success. This is a client-facing, high-touch role that requires exceptional communication skills, strong accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage a large portfolio with speed and accuracy. What you'll do Lead daily client meetings to gather data and build trust. Set up and configure Uplinq and QuickBooks Online accounts to ensure seamless integration with our bookkeeping systems. Compare signed proposals to actual needs; recommend scope/pricing changes. Manage onboarding timelines, deliverables, and client expectations. Troubleshoot issues and optimize configurations. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to transition accounts into ongoing support with the Accounting Specialists team. Qualifications 4+ years in a client-facing accounting or onboarding role. Public or multi-client accounting background Proficient in QuickBooks Online setup and troubleshooting. Strong background in both cash- and accrual-based accounting
