Join our team as an AWS Solution Architect and help us build resilient, scalable, and secure cloud solutions. You will join a 6-month transformation initiative focused on simplifying an AWS network environment, improving security, maintainability and scalability. The project involves designing a streamlined architecture with a reduced number of subnets and controlled connectivity, followed by a phased migration of services. What you will be doing: Lead the design and definition of a simplified AWS network architecture, including VPC structure, subnet strategy and connectivity model Define and own the target architecture, ensuring reduced complexity and improved security posture Establish principles for controlled connectivity and network segmentation Define the migration strategy, including phased transition of services from the legacy environment to the new architecture Identify dependencies, risks and constraints across systems and environments Guide and support execution teams during the migration process Support IaC implementation using Terraform, including replacement of drift-prone CloudFormation templates where applicable Provide direction for CI/CD evolution, including coexistence of Jenkins and Concourse pipelines Ensure architecture aligns with security best practices and supports controlled, secure service connectivity Review and validate solutions implemented by the team to ensure alignment with target design Work closely with internal teams and third parties to align on architecture and resolve blockers Contribute to continuous improvement of architecture, processes and tooling You are a good match if you have: Strong hands-on AWS Solution Architecture experience, especially in AWS networking, infrastructure simplification and migration-focused environments Advanced knowledge of AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing and security groups Experience defining and executing migration strategies for complex environments Strong Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code experience Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins and Concourse Experience with container and serverless technologies, including Docker, ECS and Lambda Solid understanding of the software engineering lifecycle AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is a plus About you: Strong ownership and accountability for architecture decisions Able to operate at both strategic and hands-on level Comfortable working in complex and evolving environments Strong communicator, able to align technical and non-technical stakeholders Analytical, collaborative and delivery-focused in your approach Apply To This Job
