Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day‑to‑day operations of the Dallas IT site, ensuring all hardware, software, and network components function optimally.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex application, hardware, and infrastructure issues, escalating to regional specialists when necessary.
  • Document, analyze, and prioritize tickets from the service desk, driving rapid resolution and continuous improvement of support processes.
  • Collaborate with both on‑site and remote IT Support Engineers, vendors, and the broader IT leadership team to deliver world‑class service.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of structured cabling, server rooms, and RF device deployments across the site.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify technology gaps, propose cost‑effective solutions, and execute strategic initiatives that align with corporate growth objectives.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures tailored to the Service Community, ensuring compliance with service‑level agreements (SLAs).
  • Mentor and coach a small team of on‑site support technicians, fostering a culture of accountability, knowledge sharing, and proactive problem solving.
  • Maintain vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee service outages to minimize business impact.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time to support regional sites, conduct on‑site assessments, and participate in disaster‑recovery drills.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of hands‑on technical support in a high‑volume Service Community environment.
  • Certifications: Industry‑recognized credentials such as arenaflex Server (MCSE), arenaflex Certified System Administrator (MCSA), or arenaflex Certified IT Professional (MCITP).
  • RF Expertise: In‑depth knowledge of arenaflex RF devices (e.g., arenaflex MC9190, VC6090, WT41N0) and their integration with enterprise systems.
  • Network Fundamentals: Strong grasp of DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP protocols, and related networking concepts.
  • System Administration: Proficiency with arenaflex Server platforms, Active Directory, and Windows‑based environments.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand or walk for 10‑12 hours per shift and lift up to 50 lb when necessary.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to respond to on‑call emergencies.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Advanced troubleshooting abilities in multi‑client, high‑stress settings.
  • Experience with arenaflex CCNA‑level networking concepts and configuration.
  • Familiarity with arenaflex MobiControl device management solutions.
  • Demonstrated success leading IT support teams and driving process improvements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting with executives, vendors, and end‑users.
  • Project management experience, including the ability to oversee high‑priority initiatives from concept to completion.
  • Track record of working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining alignment with corporate goals.
