Our Benefit Development and Backing team provides advanced analytical support as part of the Choice Support Group, acting as the analytical nerve center of the organization. As a Choice Support Analyst at arenaflex, you will engage in a highly cross-functional role that collaborates closely with key departments including Sales, Field Operations, Product Growth Management (PGM), Finance, Enterprise Planning, and Marketing. Together, you will deliver insightful analyses that support customer trade spend and investments, business development opportunities, supply chain optimization, pricing strategies, marketing initiatives, and working capital management. Additionally, you will play a key role in the contract forecasting process, activity-based costing, and the annual planning cycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Pre- and Post-Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of customer programs, strategic initiatives, new product launches, operational changes, and marketing projects, with the goal of empowering the business to make data-driven, optimal decisions.
- Pilot Program Evaluation: Analyze the performance of various pilot initiatives, following structured testing methodologies such as A/B Testing, to determine efficacy and scalability.
- Tool Maintenance and Optimization: Maintain, update, and enhance key analytical tools based on evolving business needs, including Business Process Management (BPM) systems and Route Planning models.
- Error Identification and Process Improvement: Proactively identify errors, inconsistencies, and gaps in reporting and operational processes, and propose actionable solutions.
- Trend and Pattern Recognition: Scrutinize data sets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities that the enterprise needs to consider or address for competitive advantage.
- Tool Design and Development: Contribute to the design and development of arenaflex proprietary tools aimed at improving financial targets across the value chain, from top-line revenue to bottom-line profitability.
- Scenario Modeling: Build sophisticated business scenarios based on known data sets and evolving business requirements to support strategic planning and forecasting.
- Ad-Hoc Analytical Support: Provide custom analyses and reporting as needed, including the creation of executive summaries for senior leadership.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams to dynamically support diverse stakeholders across the organization.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related and assigned responsibilities as needed to support the broader analytics function at arenaflex.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a closely related field.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, or Operations, with a strong emphasis on analysis, modeling, or forecasting.
- Industry Experience: Management Consulting or Engineering experience is highly preferred.
- Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLookups, and robust modeling capabilities.
- Data Literacy: Strong data literacy skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Data Visualization: Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Competent in other MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Access, Word, and Visio.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of Profit and Loss Statements and other financial documents.
- Time Management: Ability to balance long-term strategic needs with short-term operational demands, managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
