[Remote] Power Equipment Sales Operations Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Aero Sales Operations Manager to support the Aero New Units commercial teams. The role involves managing demand planning, ensuring data accuracy, and facilitating communication between commercial and ITR teams to enhance portfolio management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Aero demand planning serving as the primary point of contact for commercial and ITR teams
  • Assist in the collection, validation, and analytics and communication of global sales data. Ensure timely and accurate inputs for monthly operating reviews
  • Partner with commercial teams to audit sales and order pipelines
  • Proactively identify data inconsistencies and resolve gaps that impact pipeline analytics
  • Contribute to periodic leadership reviews and communication packages
  • Apply Lean thinking to identify legacy processes and process gaps and assist in the implementation of simplified solutions for Sales Operations
  • Provide analytical support for leadership, including scenario planning and data deep-dives to support strategic decision-making
  • Leverage AI-driven tools to enhance data analytics, automate reporting, and streamline communication
  • Develop and document standard work procedures to ensure consistent, reliable, and easily understood business reporting

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Marketing, Finance or related discipline from an accredited college or university or equivalent years of experience
  • 5 years of demonstrated experience of Strategic Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Commercial Finance roles, in the power industry
  • Highly Analytical with the ability to develop strong and logical business recommendations
  • Effective communication & presentation skills, including at the senior Executive level
  • Ability to drive process simplification and influence others
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems, develop new tactics and address implementation obstacles
  • Ability to anticipate and respond to changing conditions & potentially ambiguous environments, setting appropriate strategy
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office (eg. Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Salesforce and BI Power
  • Experience with P&L /Financial analytical skills and deep understanding of metrics
