[Remote] Key Account Manager – Power Transmission

The Key Account Manager – Power Transmission is responsible for leading customer-facing activities, developing commercial strategies, and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers to drive growth in the Power Transmission business line.
Responsibilities
- Lead commercial activities for the Power Transmission business line across assigned customer accounts and sales territories
- Develop and execute commercial strategies for Power Transmission products and services, including power and distribution transformers, high-voltage circuit breakers, disconnectors and instrument transformers, power quality and power sensing devices, and related services
- Develop account plans to support execution of commercial strategies and achievement of sales objectives
- Collaborate with product line teams and external manufacturers’ sales representatives to achieve order intake objectives
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customer decision-makers in support of account strategies
- Maintain accurate forecasts of orders, margins, and sales for assigned customer accounts using the Salesforce CRM application
- Facilitate and support cash and receivables management activities for assigned customer accounts
- Provide feedback regarding market trends, pricing and competition to product line marketing
- Perform periodic account reviews with leadership
- Travel regularly to customer locations
Skills
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field required, electrical or mechanical engineering preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a sales, account management, proposal development, business development, or product management
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the electrical, utility or a related industry
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key customer decision-makers
- Ability to travel approximately 25%, primarily within assigned accounts and sales territories, with occasional travel to domestic U.S. and international manufacturing locations
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Valid driver's license required
- Knowledge of Power Transmission products and services, including power and distribution transformers, high-voltage circuit breakers, disconnectors and instrument transformers, power quality devices, power sensing devices, and related services
- Demonstrated experience managing customer relationships, account strategy, and commercial activities
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience working with manufacturer's sales representatives
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM or similar customer relationship management tools
