[Remote] SALES EXECUTIVE

The US based Law Firm is seeking a highly motivated Sales Executive to drive new business development and revenue growth within the flexible packaging industry. The role involves managing the complete sales cycle, building long-term customer relationships, and expanding market presence.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within target industries
- Develop relationships with manufacturers, brands, co-packers, converters, and packaging buyers
- Generate new sales through cold calling, networking, referrals, and outbound outreach
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets
- Sell flexible packaging products including stand-up pouches, lay-flat pouches, rollstock, custom films, and related packaging solutions
- Understand customer packaging requirements and recommend suitable solutions
- Present customized packaging programs and communicate manufacturing capabilities effectively
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction
- Manage and grow newly acquired customer accounts
- Build long-term relationships focused on retention and repeat business
- Identify opportunities for upselling and expanding existing accounts
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the engagement lifecycle
- Drive profitable revenue growth across assigned territories
- Understand pricing strategies, margins, and profitability objectives
- Support company growth initiatives and market expansion efforts
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
- Travel approximately 30% for customer meetings, site visits, and industry events
- Develop strong customer relationships through regular in-person engagement
- Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences
Skills
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience
- Proven experience selling flexible packaging products
- Strong hunter mentality with demonstrated success generating new business
- Existing industry relationships within packaging, food & beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), cannabis, pet food, coffee, tea, or related manufacturing sectors
- Experience selling stand-up pouches, rollstock, custom films, or similar packaging products
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
- Ability to manage a sales territory independently and work remotely
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Willingness to travel approximately 30%
- Must be located in Michigan or a neighboring state
