[Remote] Senior Project Manager

EverHire is seeking an experienced and driven Transportation Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects across Florida. This remote opportunity supports a major Florida-based transportation client, managing various projects while ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary client liaison for FDOT and local municipal/port agency projects, managing scope, schedule, and budget through to successful delivery
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams across civil, highway, structures, drainage, traffic, and ITS disciplines
- Develop project scopes, fee proposals, and contracts; lead client negotiations
- Oversee conceptual through final design activities, including plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E)
- Drive business development efforts, including proposals, presentations, and maintaining client relationships across Florida
- Mentor and develop project staff, supporting performance, retention, and succession planning
- Ensure compliance with FDOT standards, local agency requirements, and applicable regulations
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in transportation and infrastructure projects in Florida
- 2+ years in a project management capacity
- Existing relationships and experience with FDOT and/or Florida municipal agencies
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Professional Engineer (PE) license – Florida registered
- Experience with FDOT and/or Ports projects
- Proficiency with MicroStation or OpenRoads
