[Remote] Senior UX Product Designer – Ecommerce Checkout & Payments
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dice is seeking a Senior UX Product Designer for their Ecommerce Checkout & Payments team. The role involves designing user-centered digital experiences for online purchasing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance cart, checkout, and payment processes.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and scalable user experiences across web and mobile platforms
- Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, Content Designers, and Accessibility partners to define and deliver user-centered solutions
- Participate in design critiques, workshops, discovery activities, and strategic planning sessions
- Apply systems thinking to understand how design decisions impact broader customer journeys and business objectives
- Utilize customer insights, research findings, analytics, and experimentation results to inform design decisions
- Contribute to and leverage existing design systems, patterns, and accessibility standards
- Communicate design rationale effectively to stakeholders and cross-functional partners
- Balance strategic thinking with practical execution in an agile product environment
- Explore emerging design tools and workflows, including AI-assisted design and prototyping capabilities
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, or related digital product design roles
- Advanced proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping tools
- Strong experience designing end-to-end digital product experiences across web and mobile platforms
- Demonstrated expertise in: Prototyping, User-centered design, Interaction design, User flows and journey mapping, Wireframing and high-fidelity UI design
- Experience working with design systems and scalable design patterns
- Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices, including WCAG
- Experience conducting, interpreting, or applying user research and usability testing insights
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Engineering, Research, Content Design, and Accessibility teams
- Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Portfolio required, including passwords if applicable
- Experience designing ecommerce or other transactional digital experiences
- Experience supporting Cart, Checkout, Payments, or purchasing workflows
- Familiarity with: Digital wallets, Fintech or payment experiences, Personalization, Conversion optimization, Experimentation and A/B testing methodologies
- Experience designing customer account, loyalty, rewards, or subscription experiences
- Experience partnering closely with engineering teams to deliver complex workflows into production
- Experience contributing to enterprise-scale design systems
- Interest in or exposure to AI-enabled design workflows and emerging prototyping tools
