[Remote] Biocompatibility Project Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SGS Consulting is focused on consumer electronics and analytical testing. They are seeking a Biocompatibility Project Manager who will engage with cross-functional teams and suppliers to drive material selection and biocompatibility testing during the product development process.

Responsibilities

  • Engaging with cross functional partners and suppliers to drive material selection and biocompatibility testing during product development process
  • Clear communication to peers and SME's and help build processes and specifications
  • Partner with cross functional team members and suppliers to drive selection of biocompatible materials, sample coordination, and coordinate testing throughout product development process
  • Clear and effective communication of Biocompatibility goals and findings with cross functional team and leadership
  • Manage and track analytical testing results and biocompatibility assessment and set up a process to track and communicate efficiently
  • Ability to prioritize programs and issues to meet timelines within a fast-paced environment
  • Engage with biocompatibility experts and cross-functional teams towards building workflows, processes, and SOPs

Skills

  • Good understanding of consumer electronics
  • Analytical testing experience (HPLC, ICPMS, LC/MS, GS/MS)
  • Demonstrated experience in program management
  • Experience in a collaborative cross functional, fast paced environment
  • Engaging with cross functional partners and suppliers to drive material selection and biocompatibility testing
  • Clear communication to peers and SMEs
  • Building processes and specifications
  • BS or MS in Chemistry, Toxicology, Biomedical science, Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of project management in a corporate setting
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects successfully
  • Ability to prioritize issues/projects effectively
  • Basic understanding of analytical testing methodologies
  • Ability to work in fast paced, collaborative, cross functional environment
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think outside of the box
  • STRONG program management skills
  • Clear communication skills
  • Consumer electronics experience
  • Experience with Bio-comp. and customer safety
  • Science and engineering background (Toxicology, Biomedical science, Engineering, or related fields)
  • Experience working in a fast pace environment managing multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines
  • Good understanding of program development checkpoints
