[Remote] Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Services (WACS) Consultant / Functional Analyst

Kastech Software Solutions Group is seeking a skilled professional with expertise in Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Services (WACS) to support the implementation, configuration, and optimization of enterprise asset management and work management solutions for utility organizations. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions that enhance asset performance and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Implement and configure Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Services (WACS) to meet business requirements
- Analyze business processes related to asset lifecycle management, work management, and field service operations
- Gather and document functional and technical requirements from stakeholders
- Design and configure workflows for work orders, asset tracking, maintenance planning, and scheduling
- Support integration of WACS with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, GIS, CIS, mobile workforce solutions)
- Perform system testing, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Provide production support, issue resolution, and system enhancements
- Develop functional specifications and collaborate with technical developers
- Conduct training sessions and prepare end-user documentation
- Ensure adherence to Oracle best practices and utility industry standards
Skills
- Experience with Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Services or similar Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems
- Strong understanding of utility operations (electric, water, or gas preferred)
- Knowledge of work management, asset management, and maintenance planning processes
- Experience with configuration, workflows, and business rules in Oracle Utilities applications
- Understanding of integrations using APIs, web services, or middleware platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Agile or Scrum project environments
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with other Oracle Utilities products (e.g., OMS, CIS, MDM)
- Familiarity with mobile workforce or field service management solutions
- Basic understanding of SQL or data analysis tools
- Oracle Utilities certification (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience working in large-scale utility transformation programs under Oracle Corporation ecosystem
