[Remote] Accounting Assistant III

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join their team remotely, preferably with east coast candidates. The role involves preparing backup documentation, assisting Senior staff with invoice preparation, and serving as a backup for accounts payable processing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Senior Billers with pulling backup documentation for Cost Projects
  • Prep manual invoice spreadsheets
  • Assist AP with processing vendor invoices
  • Maintain organized and accurate files and records for audit purposes and future reference
  • Handle other related tasks as necessary to support the finance team

Skills

  • Education: College degree preferred
  • Experience in accounting
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy without sacrificing efficiency
  • Solid communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Analytical thinking, sound judgment, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams)
  • Knowledge of Adobe software
  • This position requires specific driving duties. You must be able to pass a motor vehicle records check required by our insurer
