[Remote] SAP Planning Functional Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Refresco is the leading global independent beverage solutions provider, and they are seeking a SAP Planning Functional Analyst. The role involves analyzing, designing, and supporting planning processes across various domains, ensuring that requirements are translated into efficient SAP-based solutions.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing, improving and supporting critical planning functionality and processes such as demand planning and forecasting, supply planning and inventory planning, production planning and scheduling, capacity planning (rough-cut and detailed) and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP / IBP)
- Lead end-to-end SAP project initiatives, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and hyper-care
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and third-party vendors to align scope, manage risks, and ensure on-time delivery
- Configure and support SAP solutions aligned with global template standards, ensuring system and process integrity
- Manage data migration activities, including master data and open transactional data, in compliance with MDM and archival requirements
- Develop and execute testing, training, and change management activities to ensure successful adoption and continuity of business processes
Skills
- Expertise in design, delivery and support of more than one SAP module (FI/CO, SD, MM, PM, PP, QM, WM, GIB) and extensive knowledge of integration points across SAP modules
- Experience in planning solutions such as SAC, IBP, APO, Kinexis, Anaplan
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with data analysis, data mapping/modeling, ETL, and synthesizing data into metrics and insights
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting ability, with a strong desire to solve complex business problems through an understanding of business processes, ERP structures, and system capabilities
- Ability to propose, evaluate, and communicate effective solutions while working independently in a dynamic, change-oriented environment
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; collaborative team player able to work effectively across multiple functions
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a continuous learning mindset and experience developing and delivering training materials
- Bachelor's in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related discipline
- Five (5) plus years of experience integrating SAP systems
- Three (3) plus years of experience in the manufacturing industry
- Experience with S4 and/or professional certification
- Experience participating in change management for an organization preferred
- Exposure to the business functions of a manufacturing enterprise from a supply chain perspective preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office and Project
- Experience designing test scripts within automated testing tools (SAP Quality Center) preferred
- Experience as a power user of SAP's BDC tools such as Datasphere, SAC, BW or similar
