[Remote] Contracts and Vendor Operations Specialist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Thinkof is a growing technology and IT services company focused on innovation, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. They are seeking a Contracts and Vendor Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day legal operations function, managing commercial contracts and vendor lifecycle work. The role involves responsibilities such as vendor onboarding, contract management, and maintaining contracts and vendor registers.
Responsibilities
- Redline and shepherd NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, order forms, and amendments against the Thinkof contract playbook
- Run vendor onboarding end to end: intake form, due diligence checklist, SOC 2 or ISO request, W-9 collection, DocuSign routing, and CRM record
- Maintain a single contracts and vendor register: counterparty, agreement type, effective date, renewal date, notice period, owner, and key obligations
- Track renewals 90, 60, and 30 days out and surface decision points to the Founder before auto-renewal triggers
- Coordinate signature workflows in DocuSign including tagging, signer order, exhibit assembly, and post-execution filing
- Manage offboarding of terminated vendors including license recovery, final payment, data deletion attestations, and surviving obligations log
- Document recurring processes as written SOPs and identify automation opportunities
- Support SOC 2 and ISO 27001 evidence collection related to vendor management and contract obligations
Skills
- Three or more years of hands-on contracts review or vendor management experience at a technology, professional services, or law firm setting
- Strong working knowledge of commercial contract terms: indemnification, limitation of liability, IP ownership, confidentiality, warranties, termination, assignment, and survival
- Demonstrated experience redlining NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and DPAs against a standard playbook
- Experience operating a contract lifecycle management (CLM) workflow, even if manual in Excel / SharePoint
- DocuSign proficiency including envelope tagging, template management, and audit trail handling
- Comfort with U.S. data protection terminology and SOC 2 evidence requests
- Ability to work independently and remotely without daily supervision
- Discretion handling confidential commercial terms, vendor pricing, and counterparty information
- Paralegal certificate, CIPP, or contract management certification (CCCM, CFCM) is a plus
